Daily Melodies

These are short compositions, most of which where written in one day. Each of them has been posted on my Mastodon account with the hashtag #DailyMelody.

A fair amount (and more) of music has been written and is available, in the air as it were, for one to listen. Lacking an innate musical talent, I borrow seeds from that considerable cloud of tunes, such as a string of notes, which is then altered to a greater or lesser extent in terms of note duration and pitch, tempo, instrumentation, harmony, etc. to produce something somewhat new.

All of the recordings are audio files created using Finale and various Garritan sound samples or, after September 2024, Dorico and various Steinberg or Garritan sound samples.
