Song of the C

The "seed" of this short tune was listening to the 42nd episode of Schickele Mix, "Dominant Characteristics", in which the Professor explores the role of the Tonic-Dominant chord relationship in Western music (including Country Western). A long list of music is built entirely around those two chords (e.g., C major and G Major/G Major 7, or in Roman numeral notation, I - V or I - V7). So I've added, to the bottom of that list, one more song, which is in C Major.

The seas, as far as the eye can see,
dominant, all seven,
the seas.

The recording was realized by the Garritan Jazz Clarinets and Piano.
