With its unique wing turrets, the Dreadnought class battleship offers considerable hitting power without great cost. As Admiral Fischer put it, "A 12 inch gun [fires] one aimed round each minute. Six guns allow a deliberately aimed shell with a hugh bursting charge every ten seconds. Fifty percent of these should be hits at 6,000 yards. Three 12 inch shells bursting on board every minute would be HELL!"
